Golf Performance Screening

The NG360° system in combination with the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) system allows us to determine areas of the body that are causing restrictive movement patterns as well as weaknesses as they relate to the golf swing. Using a systematic biomechanical analysis in addition to specialized screening, we can identify these restrictions and a specialized treatment plan involving corrective exercises can then be established to promote proper mobility and stability during the golf swing.

The NG360° Functional Performance System (FPS) in combination with the Titleist Performance Institute system allows us to perform a very specialized assessment/screen as well as develop a specific training program around each individual golfer. These two systems were designed specifically for golf professionals and movement specialists who specialize in working with golfers. These specialized systems take advantage of the principles of all human movement to create strategies for assessment and training specific to the requirements of the golf swing.

“TPI does not believe in one way to swing a golf club, rather in an infinite number of swing styles.”

We realize that the most efficient swing is not the same for every golfer because efficiency is unique to their body. To achieve an efficient swing, a golfer must first be screened. This screen involves an assessment of swing mechanics and biomechanics, physical fitness, movement quality, current health and a patient history.

Initial Evaluation  (Biomechanical Analysis/Screen)

  •  Functional assessment to determine areas of focus. Workouts are structured to pin point the areas most needing of movement, balance, and strength.
  • This evaluation is a test of motion, balance, and strength during the golf swing.
  • Provides authentic information about your body and the movements that are restricting you in achieving your goals or may require more strength to increase performance during the golf swing.

Follow up  (Corrective Exercises)

  • Workout sessions are set from the evaluation and can consist of many different levels for many different body types and ages.
  • Tailored to fit your golf swing and body needs for improving your performance.
  • The intensity and amount will be determined by your drive and goals.
