What Is Graston Technique?
Graston Technique is a manual treatment that may be utilized by a physical therapist to assist in the treatment of various injuries.
It is referred to as an Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and is another tool that we use to help resolve pain and tightness within the body, including connective tissue, muscle and neurological tissues and the skin.
Stainless steel instruments are used to detect and treat fascial dysfunctions as well to stimulate a local inflammatory process. This promotes tissue remodeling and healthy tissue production.
